BLOGME TENDAL DCLXVIII: Leting one’s hair down

06 Sep BLOGME TENDAL DCLXVIII: Leting one’s hair down

(Fura, fura, de José Afonso)

Clothes rack in the wind, tousted.

And I always think: if clothes are finally flying!

If they were people, this clothesline would go out into the world to stir it, provoke it, scandalize easily scared people, provoke bold ones, and laugh and dance with strangers.

But clothes are tied to ropes that are tied to supports that are tied to walls that are farmed on the ground and “o chan como é duro, de todo ten man”.

Then I remember chickens:

que é pena, que é mágoa

que um ave de penas

nao possa voar”
