They aren’t drying. They are seeking the sun, seeking light.
These delicate clothes rarely see the sun. From the darkness of the drawer, we bring them into our own private, dim space.
Clung to us, they barely catch a ray of sun when hung out to dry.
And here they are, pressed against the railing, begging for a little sunshine.
And they say the sun damages the colours of delicate garments.
Strange clothes these are, displaying their colours in the dark.
