Any thing is usefull to hang clothes up. In a poor person’s house you can take advantage from everything. Unwittingly. If there is no clothes-line … a matress base, and a bicycle, and a rail of balcony, and a swindle of a curtain, and the gas bottle was saved! Also, the clothes hang around by chance: socks, rags or the Cristiano Ronaldo’s towel on its reverse, it doesen’t matter.
It is possible to be poor but honest. And also be poor but untid. But it is always necessary to have a clothes-line.
