They are leaves.
Is a ‘clothesline’ a tree or a shrub?
It has the appearance of an elderberry, which is all branches.
It looks like leaves, but this fits well with the behaviour of the elderflower, which changes colour.
The colours of the ‘clothesline’ also change with the seasons.
Every natural species has a uniform development and appearance; the ‘clothesline’ species, however, displays a great deal of individuality in its leaves and branches.
They are leaves which, like all leaves, crave the sun, although those of the ‘clothesline’ belong to the craziest species in nature.
