A fleeting clothesline in a tourist flat.
Probably sweaty clothes, washed in the bathtub while the person who wears them takes a shower.
An emergency clothesline: wash, dry and wear tomorrow.
The clothes are hung outside to dry, and the poor towel, poorly hung on the window, looks out at the world without understanding. How well she dry on a usual clothesline!
