Flat mates, separated rooms, individuals clothes-lines and different persons.
Left side clothes-line belongs to a skilful woman who does not use the balcony, then she has a clothes-line of ropes that occupy it permanently. It is possible that her clothes are for a time under the Sun and that’s does not matter for the landlady. May be when she gets her clothes away, they stay on the bed or a seat waiting the right moment to be folded or used.
The right clothes-line belongs to a tidy man who opens the portable clothes-line whenever it needs it and gathers it when the clothes are dry. I suppose that his clothes are folded at the right moment they are got away, in an always tidy room.
